The Dogologie Story
In early 2003, David Pedregon introduced Dogologie to Fredericksburg in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Inspired by his long-time friend and dog, Bessie, he decided to share his enthusiasm for all-things-canine by opening a unique dog store with the goal of cultivating community among what David describes as "dog-people."
Like You, We're Dog People.
"Helana and I are dog-people," David muses of the affection for dogs he and his wife of 13 years share. "There are varying degrees of dog-people, from those who wouldn't consider leaving the house or sleeping without their pup, to folks like us who just really enjoy sharing our space and lives with our dog. Some are more passionate than others, but they are all definitively dog-people -- they love dogs."
At Dogologie we believe dog-people enjoy a bond that transcends routine barriers like age, culture or economic status. Our goal in introducing Dogologie.com is to go beyond unique, quality products and great service by providing a real community for dog enthusiasts. Dogologie.com is a place for dog-people of all backgrounds to learn, share and care. Our hope is to be a really great resource for people who love their dogs.
Every Dog Has His...
Sure, we look forward to sharing Velour-for-Sure Donut Dog Beds and Harry Barker's Prickly Pear Shampoo with the world; but what we're really excited to impart is news of how the Delta Society is training dogs to rehabilitate stroke victims, and tips for potty-training your new puppy.
Our community site (coming in early 2007) will offer the latest in canine care --from breed-specific blogs and dog allergy remedies, to tips for caring for older dogs and training hunting dogs.
